I am an Internet veteran - I've been in the space since 1998, when I was a co-founder of GoTo.com/Overture. We pioneered Paid Search, took the company public a year after launch, and sold it to Yahoo after growing the business to ~$1 bn. Since then, I've been advising and investing in start-ups and turn-arounds - both online and offline - in NYC, London and China. I have deep product and marketing experience and a track-record of building successful consumer companies and brands. You can check me out on LinkedIn. We have a simple working prototype (built by a great bunch of Bay Area freelancers) and have received great initial feedback from investors. But I only want to take money with the core team in place, particularly the Technical Co-Founder. Hence, the ideal candidate will be able and willing to go without a salary for at least a few months while we raise money and iterate on the product.
