We will have the opportunity to discuss game playing programs, artificial neural networks, and computer simulated evolution. Some reference will also be made to computer backgammon.

Presented by Jim Peterson, currently a student of AI. Not an expert in either checkers or backgammon, Jim has degrees in Applied Physics from Caltech and in Engineering from UCLA, and has been a manager and engineer in software and hardware companies.
