Note that we will NOT be showing the movie at the meetup; we'll just discuss it. It's up to you to see the movie before the MeetUp if you haven't seen it already. I apologize for the somewhat short notice that likely prevents you from getting it from NetFlix.

I haven't seen the movie myself; I'll be viewing it in my modest home theater on Friday Oct. 23 at 6:30 PM. You are all invited to my place to see the movie. If you arrive early (say, starting from 5:00 PM) we can start a little pre-movie party and I'll show you the Syntience corporate research facility (my spare bedroom) and give you a glimpse of our research software running (a running Pre-AI Pre-demo). Optionally, bring takeout food.

If you want to see the movie on Friday, PLEASE RSVP to the separate calendar event on Oct. 23. Seating is limited and may be crowded and uncomfortable :-). I live in Sunnyvale; further instructions will be mailed out to those that RSVPd. I *may* add a Saturday afternoon matiné if there are too many requests.
