Monica: Genetic Algorithms

Genetic Algorithms are a Model Free Method and therefore they are a candidate for use as (or as a component of) bottom-up (subsymbolic) approaches to AI.

I'll give a 40 min to 1 hr presentation on the topic, with slides, followed by discussion. I did this over two years ago and considering the importance of the topic and the rate of turnover in the group it's time to do it again. I'll update the slides. This will happen when I have no other speaker lined up OR when this idea entry reaches a critical number of votes.
