Model Free Methods

I gave a talk about Non-Reductionist and Model Free Methods for AI at the Convergence08 Conference on 11/16/08. I'll give a more advanced version of that talk at this MeetUp. The main difference is that I'll emphasize new material and skip much of that which is available on my artificial intuition website. You may want to read the 6 pages on that site if you have not yet heard me talk about Artificial Intuition, Bizarre Systems, and Prediction-as-Basis-of-Intelligence . This introductory material was covered at my Holistic Salon.

Unless I get a lot of questions while talking (which I actually encourage) the talk will be significantly shorter than one hour and the rest of the time will be available for the usual discussion about any AI related topic.

As an experiment, I will record this talk to video. I have not decided if this video will be made publicly available; it depends on both content and production quality as I don't yet have much video experience.
